Allan Reiver is a gallery owner with a background in real estate development. Allan Reiver’s passion for preserving the architectural components of buildings that have been scheduled for demolition has honed his eye for identifying architectural gems in buildings most would consider hazards.
Shortly after arriving in Denver, Colorado, in 1970, Mr. Reiver put those skills to work acquiring and renovating several neighboring properties. These initiatives were followed by larger projects in which previously underutilized buildings and properties were transformed into modern commercial and residential spaces. One such project, Market Center, serves as a cornerstone to one of Denver’s most historic areas, the lower downtown (LoDo) area, the site where the city was originally settled. A collection of five structures that were later joined to function as a single continuous building, Market Center was constructed near the turn of the century. Thanks to renovation and preservation efforts, it will continue to serve the Denver community well into the future.
